After a visit to Oulton Park in April 2024 and seeing the young drivers competing in GB3, GB4 and Ginetta Juniors, Jess was inspired to start karting in earnest, and has rapidly progressed in that short space of time.
By the end of 2024 she had:
Achieved 3rd place overall in the Daytona Tamworth InKart Championship Season 3, with several podium finishes.
Earned an invite to the Daytona Race of Champions event held in early 2025.
Been assesssed to compete in the Daniel Ricciardo Arrive & Drive Series, and competed in the final race weekend.
In 2025 Jess is racing in the female-only Jamie Chadwick Series at Daytona Motorsport venues in the Cadet class, the Club100 Northern Cadet Super-Lightweight Championship and the Daniel Ricciardo Series DRS40 Championship.

After missing the first round due to a clash with the Daniel Ricciardo Series DRS Plate Race at Whilton Mill, this marked Jess's debut in the series after it was extended to Junior & Cadet classes.
Jess had her first experience of a Club100 kart at Whilton Mill on Sunday, and quickly got to grips with the karts, putting in some impressive laptimes considering the expierence levels of other drivers in the field.
